Introducing Aura by Archela Bridal

Introducing Aura by Archela Bridal

Our debut collection, years in the making

Archela Bridal has been dressing Perth brides for more than four decades, first as Bride's Selection from 1982, then under the Archela name from 2022. In that time our stylists have guided thousands of women through the fitting room, working with collections from leading Australian and international designers. Aura is a collection of gowns showcasing what we were searching for. It came from what we kept seeing in the fitting room. More of our brides were arriving with a clear sense of their own style and no interest in the predictable. They wanted the gown that stops the room, sparks conversation and feels unmistakably theirs. Aura was created for her.

Who the Aura bride is

Designed for the contemporary bride who refuses to blend in, our debut collection redefines bridal tradition with an infusion of fresh energy and striking individuality. The collection answers her with sleek architectural lines, daring cuts and tactile textures, from luminous mikado to layered floral lace and cloud-like tulle. Each gown is built to feel bold and elegant without giving up comfort, because a statement gown still has to carry her from the ceremony to the last song of the night.

The debut collection

Aura by Archela Bridal launches with seven gowns. Most are ballgowns, reworked with structured corsetry and modern detail, alongside a mikado column and a lace mini for brides who want something unexpected.

For the romantic who loves lace.

  • Aaliya pairs a strapless lace corset with a full ballgown skirt of layered floral lace, finishing in a scalloped hem and sweeping train.

  • Anya takes a softer approach, with delicate floral lace over a luminous base, a scoop neckline and slender straps.

For the bride who wants volume.

  • Arianna sets a sleek strapless bodice of softly gathered fabric against a skirt of layered tulle with feathered edges.

  • Athena combines a sculpted satin-finish bodice with sheer, petal-like layers and sculptural floral appliquĂ©s, completed by its own dramatic veil.

For clean lines and modern polish.

  • Ava is a corseted mikado ballgown with a lace-framed scoop neckline, a low V-back and a sweeping train.

  • Amira with Keyhole is a mikado column with a peekaboo keyhole, a statement bow at the bust and a dramatic detachable-style train.

Four looks from one gown.

  • Ada shows the playful side of Aura. On its own, it's a strapless floral lace mini, with an optional jacket that adds a high neckline and long sheer sleeves. Paired with the Amira mikado overskirt, it becomes a full bridal gown with a sweeping train. Removing the overskirt reveals a mini made for the dance floor and the after-party, giving you a ceremony look, a reception look and an after-party look from one piece.
