So you've set the date for your Bridal appointment at Archela Bridal - the next step is deciding who your ultimate "say yes' squad is! It can be such a touch and overwhelming decision - you might think you want everyone there, but that might not be the best choice.
We consider all the people you might want to bring along to your special Bridal experience.
Family. Whether it’s your parents, siblings, grandparents or extended family, it’s essential to have some close family members involved through this important (and exciting!) decision process.
Bridal party. Considering they’re in your wedding, why wouldn’t they be there when you make the single most important decision of the whole event? Having your most important people there will only allow for more “ooo’s” and “ahh’s” when you come out in different dresses.
Your fiancés family or part of it. Now, this doesn’t mean their entire family, but maybe their sister, or even mother. If of course, you feel comfortable having them there. Inviting them to your bridal appointment is a very sentimental gesture.
Less is more. Remember, less is more. Too many opinions from too many people at your appointment can make for a stressful and overwhelming overall process. The goal is to be shedding tears of joy when picking out your wedding dress, not tears of stress!
Whilst it isn't the intention of anyone, consider that your guests might have opinions which you think you need, but sometimes don't want. What will happen if your bestie isn't on the same page when you find your dream gown, and their well intended opinion is more about what they love, rather than what you do? What if your Mum sees Fairy tale Princess but you are after more of a modern, contemporary and chic look? We encourage our Brides to make sure you bring along those people you know will listen to your vision, support you and help make this moment the magical experience it should be.
Please note, you may bring up to 3 guests to your bridal appointment.
But what if there are too many people, or I just HAVE to bring everyone?
If you can't decide who to bring or maybe you have too many people, remember there are lots of opportunities to include people in this special moment - you just don't have to include everyone all at the same time.
Here are some ideas on future appointments where you can include people without having to have everyone involved in the appointment where you find your dream gown.
Reveal appointment - A reveal appointment can be scheduled to show your chosen dream gown to those that were not with you when you said 'Yes'. This is perfect opportunity to show the gown to the important person you want involved and to have a special moment with, but you couldn't bring with you when selecting your gown.
Accessories appointment - if not chosen when you find your dream gown, an appointment is the perfect appointment to book so you can find the perfect veil and accessories to complete your Bridal look.
Try-On appointment - this is a special unveil appointment you have when your actual wedding gown arrives and you see it for the first time. This is the perfect appointment to share the special moment with those that get to see your gown before your wedding day. Truly an intimate and sentimental moment for those that get to be included, but not when you make your decision.
